Business idea
Can you transform food waste into agricultural nutrients? Bokashi is a preservation method which produces revitalised farming soil – without compost or incineration. Through adding living microbes, you will receive nutrient soil to use in a matter of two weeks. Take care of your food waste and put it to good use.

Business idea
Today compacted garbage waste is handled with mechanical equipments that tears and destroys the compressed bales, which leads to sanitary, environmental problems. Expensive sanitations in boats, harbors, trucks and energy facilities is a net effect of this. WasteGripper WG is a vacuum elevating process which takes care of compressed garbage and creates a valuable and sustainable supply of fossil free fuel for energy facilities. At the same time WasteGripper contributes to solving important waste-sanitation problems.
Background
Globe Forum Tour is a local follow-up to the "City Challenge" project which was launched at the Eurocities meeting in Stockholm 2009 where the then Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden, Maud Olofsson, in co-operation with GF announced a challenge posed to all cities in EU to become more sustainable.
Purpose
Globe Forum Tour has been developed with the intent to find local/regional innovators and to build a local ongoing process with the aim of promoting and developing a better platform for innovations linked to sustainable development. Another important factor is to create more business opportunities at the local level and uplift local innovations. Globe Forum Tour will visit 6 cities in Sweden before summer 2011. At each Tour Stop we arrange a local "Innovators contest" where 8-10 selected innovators present their innovations on stage. Two winners will be selected and they will directly qualify for the grand finale at Globe Forum World Conference in Stockholm 11 May 2011, where they compete in free participation in Globe Forum's Facilitator program, worth 100 000 SEK.
